If you do put in the work, and develop a strong following of repeat customers and referrals, you can make a lot of money while, at the same time, working less and having control of your time. It can be a wonderful feeling knowing that you have a steady stream of business without having to do the prospecting and working the leads as you did at the beginning of your career. You just need to be willing to put in the effort in the beginning to reach the level that few actually attain. It’s not that it’s a secret formula. It’s just that it doesn’t happen overnight, and for the first several years you need to be willing to put in the time and effort to build your sphere of influence and raving fans.
