Transaction Task Plans

Until you have several dozens of transactions under your belt, you will be constantly worrying about whether you're missing something that you're supposed to be doing. It can be quite stressful when you're dealing with transactions as complex and monetarily into the hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars. You don't want to make a mistake that could cost your client to either lose the transaction or spend a lot of money unnecessarily. And then there's the worry about lawsuits. When someone sues during or after a transaction, EVERYBODY is drawn into the suit. Believe me, you really don't want to go there!

Please read through all the steps in all of the Buyer and Seller tasks plans on Google Drive. Write down any questions you have, and we will go over them with you when you're done with the course and in the office sometime.

Even though we carry Errors and Omissions Insurance on all of our brokers and our company, if a suit is brought, it will not only still cost thousands of dollars in deductibles but will raise the cost of the yearly insurance premiums. Overall, it’s something you really want to avoid. One way we help you with that is to provide checklists for transactions so that you can feel less stressed that you may be forgetting to do something. We house them in the shared AA – Transaction Checklists – Master folder on your Google Drive. Simply go to your Google Drive, select Shared with me in the left column, click on AA-Transaction Checklists – Master. You can then select either Seller Transactions or Buyer Transactions and right click on the applicable checklist to download it to your computer.

You can open each one below. However, it may or may not be the latest version. Those will be in the shared drive. After opening one up, you can type Control + to enlarge it. Otherwise, just go to your drive and download a copy.
